After qualifying from Bristol in 2007 with distinctions and awards in academic and clinical dentistry, Matthew spent time in practice before heading back into the hospital environment.
 
His early training included rotations in restorative dentistry and oral & maxillofacial surgery at the Bristol Dental Hospital, followed by head and neck surgery, facial deformity and trauma at the Royal London and St Bartholomew’s Hospitals. Dr Brennand Roper completed a clinical masters in prosthodontics at the University of Edinburgh, and two nationally accredited specialist programmes, Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry, as a Specialty Registrar whilst at the Edinburgh Dental Institute between 2010 and 2017. He went on to become a Consultant in Glasgow before returning to Bristol in 2022.
 
Dr Brennand Roper is the restorative lead for dental developmental deformities, cleft and hypodontia at the Bristol Dental Hospital and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). Matthew also has years of experience working as a private referrals specialist.
 
In 2018, he was elected to the UK and Ireland Young ITI Committee, and onto the leadership team in 2022. He also sits on the Global Young ITI Committee. Dr Brennand Roper is an examiner for The University of Bristol and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
 
Matthew is an invited speaker both nationally and internationally with publications in peer reviewed journals. His research interests and international grants lie within the fields of hard and soft tissue regenerative procedures associated with hypodontia and implant therapies.

He successfully completed a two-year diploma in Endodontic Sciences at the world-renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute in 2013. Most recently, Cameron was awarded a Master of Science degree in Endodontics from University of South Wales in 2019.

Cameron has completed additional studies in UK and abroad. This includes advanced surgical endodontic training under the mentorship of Professor Syngcuk Kim at University of Pennsylvania, USA.

He also enjoys teaching and lecturing. He previously worked as a lecturer at Cardiff University supervising undergraduate endodontics, as well as being a teaching assistant on the Bristol University (BOULD) endodontic course and lecturing on vocational training courses. Cameron also regularly runs his own CPD courses for general dental practitioners.

Cameron hold memberships of the British Endodontic Society, European Society of Endodontology and American Association of Endodontics.

Cameron's clinical practice is limited to endodontics and he takes referrals for all aspects of endodontic treatment from retreatment to microsurgery. All treatment is completed with the use of a dental operating microscope. Using the latest and most advanced equipment coupled with excellent clinical skills allows Cameron to perform treatment to the highest standards ensuring the highest chance of success.

Cameron is an empathetic dentist who does his utmost to put patients at ease and ensure they are comfortable and relaxed throughout all stages of treatment.

He has a particular interest in restorative dentistry and dental implants and has been appointed a fellow of the International Team of Implantologists. Ceri has completed a clinical masters in Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry at the City of London Dental School.

Ceri is also involved in teaching dental implants to other dentists and dental nurses. He is approved as a clinical teacher for the Straumann implant company, he also teaches with the Delta dental academy, the ITI and mentoring newly trained implant dentists.

From there he continued his training for a further 4 years in the hospital system, with a wealth of experience in surgery and complex restorative management. During this time he also did placements in the US and Canada, passing his exams to become board certified in the latter.

Mike’s main focus now is on Cosmetic dentistry, from composite bonding to complex full mouth rehabilitation. With a surgical background he is able to offer a combined surgical and restorative approach to aid function and aesthetics. His talents were recognised at the Dentistry Clinical Case Awards 2022 at which Mike Gray won the prestigious restorative category for his Full Mouth Rehabilitation Case.

Alongside work and study, and no doubt sculpting his drive and motivation, Mike has competed at a world level, over three different cycling disciplines; Downhill, Fourcross and Enduro, has been Welch National Champion and cycling for Great Britain.

His other passion being music, as a singer songwriter he has toured, recorded at the infamous Rockfield Studios, and completed a lap of the Nashville songwriting circuit.

In 2014, Chloe was awarded membership to the Joint Dental Faculties of Royal College Surgeons after successfully completing the MJDF examination.

Chloe's commitment to postgraduate education has been extensive. Her most recent formal qualifications include a postgraduate certificate in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry, as well as a Master's Degree in Implant Dentistry for which she was awarded a distinction from her Alma mater, the University of Bristol in 2018.

She is currently completing a 2-year diploma in orthodontic clear aligners.
Chloe regularly attends courses in the UK and abroad and aims to develop additional skills to offer both patients and referring dentists.

Chloe’s clinical practice is limited to the provision of Invisalign orthodontic treatment and Implant prosthodontics. She has a comprehensive cosmetic and restorative portfolio.

Chloe is a fully certified invisalign Platinum provider and has a wealth of experience treating a full range of complex cases with invisalign aligners.

Chloe takes referrals for all aspects of implant dentistry working as part of a multidisciplinary approach with Dr Ceri Owen-Roberts to provide a full range of implant based restorative solutions, from single units to full arch fixed and removable implant supported dentures.

Chloe is the clinical director for two dental study clubs where she runs courses for other dental professionals.

He has chosen to focus his practice on Oral Surgery and Complex Restorative Dentistry, alongside undergoing training in Implant Surgery. He accepts referrals from other dental practitioners for complex/failed extractions and the removal of difficult wisdom teeth. 

He has achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry and has been awarded a Fellowship in the British Academy of Aesthetic Restorative and Implant Dentistry. He also holds MSc in Oral Surgery alongside being a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons. James’ plan for the future is to focus his practice further on Oral and Implant Surgery so he can provide this to a very high standard in an area of dentistry he is very passionate about.  In addition to this, he has been running the Emergency Dental Service Clinics alongside the Local Health Board for the past five years which has exposed him to a large variety of acute dental conditions and their varied presentations, which has been an invaluable experience. 

Away from the world of dentistry James enjoys rugby, having played for both Guy’s Hospital Rugby Club and Kings College London. He is also a keen gymgoer, holds a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do and is kept on his toes by his two dogs.

He started his career with eight years in a hospital maxillofacial ward performing a range of surgical procedures. Latterly he has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry and a strong foundation in general dentistry. In 2014, Richard won Best Young Dentist UK at the Dentistry Awards and in 2018, he was recognised as an Accredited Member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He was the youngest dentist ever to have achieved this accolade.

Having won multiple awards for his Aesthetic Dentistry, in 2022 Richard was invited to be one of the judges at the Aesthetic Dentistry Awards.

He has a wide range of expertise in cosmetic and aesthetic restorative dentistry including smile design, composite bonding and composite veneers, ceramic veneers & crowns, restoring worn down teeth and removing white spots from teeth. Richard has years of experience in working as part of a multi-specialist team in the treatment of complex cases. It is these skills that landed him on the Tatler recommended dentist list.

Steve was selected to join Her Majesty's Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth and during his time in the Royal Navy he saw active service in Northern Ireland & Kuwait and whilst attached to the Royal Marines 45 Commando Unit. He subsequently took a post in Australia providing community dental care to aboriginal tribes.

Tasker's main focus lies in restorative dentistry with a keen emphasis on preserving teeth for as long as possible. 

Tasker joined us at Lodge Dental in 2019 and has quickly built up a great relationship with his patients.

Martin enjoys all aspects of general and family dentistry and has a particular interest in preventative dentistry and building long standing relationships with his patients.
During undergraduate training he spent time working at an emergency dental clinic at Angkor Hospital for Children in Cambodia. Since qualification Martin has sat examinations to join as a Member of the Faculty for Dental Surgery.


Outside of work Martin enjoys travel, skiing and scuba diving. He regularly trains and occasionally competes in CrossFit competitions around the UK.

Rosie enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a keen interest in aesthetics and prosthodontics. She has completed multiple composite and aligner courses and is undertaking a year long course in aesthetic and restorative dentistry. Rosie sits on the committee for the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry as well as the British Academy of Private Dentistry and is an educational supervisor for newly qualified dentists. Prior to dentistry Rosie gained a first class degree in Medical Biochemistry and outside of dentistry enjoys skiing, keeping fit, travelling and baking.

After this, he worked in Liverpool as a general dentist for 12 months, before moving to hospital dentistry where he practiced as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Senior House Officer for 18 months.  In this job role he gained experience in Surgical Dentistry as well as managing acute facial trauma and severe dental infections.  

From there, Dan moved to Australia where he worked as a private general dentist in the Sunshine Coast.  His interests within Dentistry include Periodontology, Implantology and Oral Surgery, choosing to carry out extra training in these areas to further develop his skills.  He is committed to further education and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry and is now undertaking a Master’s degree in Periodontal Surgery.  

Outside of dentistry Dan grew up in a small village in South Wales where rugby was at the heart of the community.  He played Rugby League for Wales U18’s and rugby union for a number of semi-professional teams throughout his time in University.  Since qualifying he has swapped his rugby boots for running shoes, enjoying long runs and keeping fit.

He placed his first implant in 2010 and in 2013 he co-founded Pure Dental Centre in Barnstaple.

Jonny attended Edge Hill University and completed his Masters in Dental Implantology with Distinction in 2018.

In 2022 he restricted his practice to dental Implantology. When not working at his own practice he is a visiting Implantologist at Dartmoor Dental.

Jonny, an ITI study club director and area co-ordinator, is involved in teaching and mentoring implantology to dentists and nurses.

His passions are Implant Surgery and the application of ‘Human Factors’ science to dentistry.

Dr. Caryl Wilson-Nagrani is a specialist consultant orthodontist, who provides comprehensive orthodontic care to both children and adults. She is proficient in utilising fixed appliances and aligner treatments to achieve optimal results for her patients.

Caryl's journey in dentistry began with her undergraduate BDS degree from Sheffield University in 2005. After completing her vocational training in South Devon, she fulfilled general professional training and senior house officer positions in the community dental service, maxillofacial surgery, and restorative dentistry in South Wales. 

She then pursued three years of specialist orthodontic postgraduate training at Cardiff University, culminating in the Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) examination at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, in 2011. She was honoured with the prestigious William Houston Gold Medal, awarded annually to the most outstanding candidate in the MOrth Exam.

Caryl further advanced her expertise by undertaking consultant orthodontist training while simultaneously earning a PhD with a thesis titled “Matching Genotype to Phenotype in a Detailed Assessment of Lip Morphology”. She also pursued postgraduate education training, becoming a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority (HEA). In 2016, after completing her intercollegiate specialist fellowship examination at the Royal College of Surgeons, she was appointed Senior Clinical Lecturer and Consultant in Orthodontics at Cardiff University.

In her role at Cardiff University, Caryl managed complex orthodontic cases, including those involving orthognathic surgery, severe hypodontia, and cleft lip/palate patients. She held several leadership positions, including Undergraduate Orthodontic Lead, and presented her research at numerous national and international conferences. Notably, she was awarded the Houston Research Prize for her presentation at the European Orthodontic Conference in June 2019.

Currently, Caryl practices in three locations across South Wales, delivering high-quality private orthodontic care. Her extensive training, clinical experience, and dedication to her field make her a highly respected professional in orthodontics.
